I'm having problems with a local suppliers stains when used with majolica,
(most of 'em blister horribly if at all thickly applied), and I wondered if
Mason stains would work well? I've never used them as they are hard to find
here in the UK, (in fact I've never seen any for sale), but a student of
mine has bought some by mail order so I wondered if they might be worth a
go? I usually mix the glaze stain with a little of the majolica glaze and
sometimes a little CBF if it's not melting well. Should this approach work
ok with Mason stains? Many thanks,
