Hello Alistair-
I enjoyed visiting the AGP Studio website. It's very nice to know
there's another
engineer/potter out there, particularly one who does traditional music.
i work a lot
with traditional Irish bands (Solas, Karan Casey, The Vallely
brothers), and I play a bit as well. The connection between performing
on an instrument and making pots has always been clear to me- the thing
that's great about making pots is that you can do it alone! -you don't
need a band or a producer or...
Anyway, keep up the good work!

Hello John,

Thanks for the comments, I think that there are real analogies between
playing an instrument and ceramics - apart from the creative bit they both
synthesise an idea through a technical process and the result is a
combination of the original idea and the effects of that process.

I enjoyed your recording studio site but unfortunately the pottery site
would not load for me,

regards,

Alistair
