I was talking with Sue Beach about our
mug making assignments & improvements.
I had an idea that we could share our them
by having a blog and posting digitals displaying
improvements in our work.
Anyone interested in this idea?
It doesn't have to be limited to mugs it could include
functional, non-functional, sculptural you name it.
Requests for critiques optional.
This could be a great way to speed improvements for those
of us not taking workshops or classes.
Ok?
So if one of our genius non-technologically challenged
builds it.......... we will come!

Gayle:
You're sexy, and that's no lie, but what's more important is that your a
smart cookie. I've added a blog (www.clayartmugshots.blogspot.com) to my
blog list. Let's see how many others are interested before we do anything
else.
I should be the poster child for self-taught potting (only 'cause I'm cute
in a tutu). Let me set it up so that it is more all-of-us blog and I'll
get back to you. I think flickr dumped me, hence no wirerabbit pic on my
blogs. Sigh.
Everyone play fair now.

Ya'll don't forget that Taylor got us a BLOG up and
running for MugShots. Do you have any mugs you'd like
to share? Go here and post them if you do. Don't be
shy.

Are on the blog. I've been working on the coil built mugs and on
handles. I'm getting there. I'm not where I want to be... but the mugs
are looking better than they were. Thanks for looking.

It takes me about an hour to make a mug. What I like about coil
building is that I can do it at home. I've got a hunk of plywood
covering the washer and that's my clay studio. Now if I had a wringer
washer, I'd have a dandy slab roller.
