Hi,
I have tried most of the swarf from the metalwork dept at college over =
the years. Copper is better at s/w temps. But the bits are always too =
big and go black and crusty. It's good for "Euan Henderson" type effects =
on a surface. Bung a chrome glaze underneath, or a tin one. In ox. or =
red,n. it's interesting to work with. If you have some silicon carbide =
(carborundum) try a pinch of that too.
Suntan lotion. I hate throwing it away at the end of the summer, it's =
sooo expensive. ---I have lots of factor 60, 40. and 30 left over from =
childrens summer hols. It wont keep till next summer, it goes weird....=20
all list titanium dioxide fairly high up the ingredients list. So,....=20
I will use some as slip next week and let you know. Also I will mix a =
bit into a s/w ash glaze (ox) Can someone try it in Red'n ? =20
I cant bear throwing away something that might come in usefull !
