china painting workshop in mn

updated fri 9 sep 05

The notice for this workshop somehow got left out of the current issue of
Ceramics Monthly's workshop listings, so they've asked me to post it here.
There are still a few places left, but they're going fast. If you've never
tried china paint, and you'd like a quick introduction, this is it. If you
know any china painters, this is a chance for them to learn a completely
different approach to the medium. It will even be a little hands-on, so you
can try it out. No experience with china paints necessary. If you have
some pots fired with a white or clear glaze on them, bring them along.
We'll see what we can paint on them.

"China Painting/ Water-Based Mediums" 2 Day October 1-2, 2005 Northern Clay
Center, 2424 Franklin Ave. E, Minneapolis, MN 55406. For info, contact Sarah
Millfelt, 612-339-8007. email: sarahmillfelt@northernclaycenter.org

I hope to see some Clayarters there.
