Dennis, it has been long well known that the original Floating Blue glaze
published in Chappell's book is not stable, largely b/c it has a lot of GB
in it. It is VERY finicky. Ron Roy the Glaze Guru Extraordinaire has
reformulated it such that one gets the desired results without such nasties
as pinholes, runs, and turning green. Have a search through the archives
for a glaze called Ron Roy Floating Blue (I think there are 3 versions) or
RRFB. You'll be much better off in the long run, trust me.
