Mel:
Somehow, I find it hard to picture you as a part of the rumor mill.
YOW, that's almost as bad as imagining you sitting in front of the
idiot box watching Desperate Housewives!

Thinking about it though, Louisville would be just fine. Gail and I
can go camp out on Dolita's front lawn, and spoil her cat.
Imagine her husband coming home and finding belly dancing lessons
going on in the living room, with other strangers making primal wine
in the garage. Mint Juleps on the front porch, y'all! We'll have to
keep the pottery outside. Oh heck, we'll just take over her studio!
Oh BABY! Put on the coffee, Dolita...your "worst nightmare"
houseguests are about to make an appearance. ROFL

I hope you're enjoying your autumn.
Wayne Seidl
all battened down for Hurricane Rita... # 3 this year (so far, sigh)

It is more than a rumor. I have been invited to do the Dinnerworks show in
Louisville for the
Louisville Visual Arts Assoc, and as part of ongoing correspondence with
them I learned that
NCECA would be held there in '07. I have mixed feelings, because
New Orleans really will need the money that we generate.
Maybe the year after that would work better for all. I hope so.

Best to all,

Rikki Gill

I have new images up on my somewhat revised website.
Please take a look. Feedback welcome.

New Orleans will need the $ that we generate, but there will need to be
somewhere for 6000 people to spend that money, and right now, it's just not
there. They'll need longer than 2 years to recover enough, IMO.
