Just wanted you all to know about this upcoming workshop by well-known =
Bakersville, NC potter Mark Peters. As some of you know, the Craft =
Center has excellent studio facilities, is located on a beautiful =
wilderness site overlooking Center Hill Lake, and is a wonderful place =
to take workshops. Hope to see some of you there.

October 21, 22 & 23 (3-day class)
Friday, 1-6pm; Saturday & Sunday, 9am-4pm
Pitchers & Cups
Mark Peters

Start with thrown cylinders to create a variety of pitchers with =
matching
cups. Special attention is given to throwing tall pitchers, pulling =
handles,
and spouts. Explore new ways of applying textures and patterns to the =
clay's
surface. Beginning-Intermediate (students should be able to comfortably=20
throw an eight-inch cylinder)
