Hi,

I lived in the US for a while and learned the craft there.
Now I am back in Brazil, trying to use some of the recipes that I got.
Is there anyone out there, gurus, that knows about using the materials we
have here to achieve the results I love with the glaze recipes I have?
Thank you so much for any help!!!

Hi Heloisa,

I took my first pottery classes in Brazil. If my teacher is still in Sao
Paulo, I'm sure she would be happy to help you with your questions on
glazes, or give you the name and address of a supply store that may be able
to help. It has been nine years since I left Brazil, so it is possible that
my teacher has retired to the country. In the chance that you can contact
her and that she may be able to help ... her name is Sandra Bernardini and
her studio is r. Cancioneiro Poplular, 189 c.7 and phone is 531-0950. (in
the area between Morumbi Mall and Santo Amaro) If you do find her, please
say Hi to her for me. I'd love to hear how she is doing. I hope she can help
you.

Good Luck!

Hi Heloisa,

If you can get the analysis of the materials available there it is
certainly possible to reformulate using those materials.

Let me know if that is possible - I can help.
