Geeze, man, Osceola ain't really that far away, 230 miles. What was that
loading and lighting time again? I won't get out of Wallys' till Sunday
night and an old bud is coming up to da UP to shake the city loose. His
wife is a potter, maybe we'll show up. This visit was interupted last week
and I thought of tagging along with my pal into the Porkies and look for
kaolinite/clay deposits. Thanks for the reminder. Stay in there!

Gary,
If you come up Sunday the firing will be over. I am leaving now to go prep the kiln, kiln shelves, etc. We load Friday morning (tomorrow) and start firing firing the kiln off Sunday afternoon. I'm already aching. Everytime I prepare for a wood fire I think I must be nuts. There is so much work involved on so many levels.
