I have a well used and carefully maintained Blue Bird Pug Mill for sale.
This pug is more or less equvalent to the current Model 3000 Tile Extruder.
The vacuum de-airing unit is set up with out-feed table and roller to
support all extrusions and comes complete with round, square & tile nozzles.
The machine is currently running a 3HP 3 Phase motor - purchase would
include a comparable single phase motor as well. The pug is in excellent
condition in every respect. The custom drive, tamper, and out-feed table are
all custom retro- fitted and are superior to the original as well as the
current Blue Bird Tile extrusion machine. The vacuum pump is in excellent
working order and comes with an identical spare vacuum unit and assorted
pump parts. I will part with this excellent clay prep setup for less than
half the current list of new equipment and associated nozzles and parts - or
approximately $6000 + actual shipping costs. Complete photos of the machine
currently in everyday use are available to anyone interested.
I also have a used Simpson Lab Muller - Clay Mixer for small batch
processing of plastic clay. This machine is well used and in excellent
condition and includes both 3 phase and single phase motors as well as
custom built dust cap and water feed funnel.
