Lili: If I have good ventillation or can work out of doors, I use the shellac. I don't have a spray booth with exhaust fan. If not good ventillation, I use the wax resist. It works nicely-though maybe the lines aren't as sharp as with shellac. There is so much we can do with these methods--even putting color into the wax resist. Washes can be applied after the desired amount of clay is taken away.
