It seems like they is a middleman for artists and businesses/people =
seeking
art. I presented some of my work to them before, but did not hear back =
from
them. My opinion is that if they want to work with you, they need to =
build a
relation. I felt that that lacked.

Bill -
They contacted all the faculty here at the Craft Center, saying that they
had a major client interested in assembling a collection of fine craft, and
asked for information about our work. I sent them to my website and
identified some large pieces that are still available. The client is
apparently interested in several of my large coil-built jars, but I have not
heard the final word yet. I certianly hope that they are legitimate, and
will be anxious to hear from anyone else on the list who might know about
them. In the communications I have had with them, they seem thoroughly
professional.

The fact they have a cool site
( that just went up in 2005)
should not encourage anyone
to lower their defenses.
I do not know anything about them ...
they could be the most honest and
reputable people in America ,,,
but this offer was sent to you over
the Internet.
Check up on them thoroughly before
you send them any work ... protect
your artwork and your money.
Checking up means asking for
references from other artists who have
worked with them, checking with the
named companies to make sure they
really do supply them with art.
Ask a lot of questions.
What is their commission?
Who pays shipping?
Who insures the work until it is accepted?
Who pays if something breaks?
What happens if the clients don't like it?
Is the risk shared or is it all in your
direction?
Chris Campbell - in North Carolina - I always substitute the word
'Nigeria' for any other location ... it helps!
