If your kiln stand is the one the kiln
came with, attaching wheels is not
likely a good idea, the stands are too
flimsy. Mine was a heavy steel stand,
welded for the specific purpose of
moving the kiln around and keeping it
together/undamaged.
This was in north Texas - the kiln patio
was completely covered overhead, so
no wind/rain/snow could blow in and
reach the kiln. There was a lot of rain,
but not much in the way of snow, and
very little cold. There was tremendous
heat, but that's another story. Easy to
keep electric kilns outside, along with
the other kilns, so long as they did not
get wet..
