Dear Lester,
to knead the clay and then wedge it are two different methods, the first =
done properly mixes (and should not mix air into the clay) the body, =
whereas the Stoke on Trent Wedging method thoroughly de-airs the clay. =
Use both methods for a perfect clay to use for hand making, throwing =
etc.
