POTTERY WORKSHOP WITH TONY CLENNELL=20
"SELLING EVERYTHING, BUT OUT!"
Canadian potter, writer, and philosopher extraordinaire, Tony Clennell, =
will be presenting a demonstration workshop in Oklahoma City at City =
Arts Center.
The workshop will focus on techniques, special details and =
embellishments which create pots that stand above the ordinary. Throwing =
in sections to make phenomenal large pots, altering, decorating, lugs =
and handmade cane handles are but a few of the processes Tony will =
present with his unique perspective. During the workshop, Tony will =
demonstrate his innovative approach to teapots, beakers, ewers, plates, =
platters, jugs, jars, vases, and Texan casseroles.=20

Tony Clennell, a Canadian living treasure, has been a working potter =
along with his wife Sheila for the past 18 years. His amazing work has =
been exhibited extensively around the United States and Canada. He is a =
regular and lively columnist for Clay Times Magazine and frequent =
contributor to Ceramics Monthly and Pottery Making Illustrated. Tony has =
produced the internationally distributed and highly acclaimed video =
"Taking The Macho Out of Bigware." When not potting, writing or =
maintaining his studio in Beamsville, Ontario, Tony teaches part-time at =
Canada's top art school, Sheridan College. Tony is deeply philosophical =
with a giving spirit and a strong commitment to the craft and art of =
