Admission to all events is only $10
or you may buy tickets to attend single events, from $1 - $3 per event.
All proceeds will be used for building improvements at Muse Pottery

Nick Tranmer demonstrates how to alter thrown pots.

Who can throw the widest bowl out of four pounds of clay?

Barbara Kobler demonstrates tobacco tea and marblelized clay decoration
Hiro Tashima demonstrates how to make a bust from slab construction


1 pm to 2 pm DEMONSTRATION

Andy Iventosch demonstrates how to throw large pots

2 pm to 3 pm KIDS' CLAY OLYMPIC EVENTS (ages 6 to 14)

Aurore Chabot demonstrates fossil memory tiles

3 pm to 4 pm DEMONSTRATION

Stephanie MacKenzie will throw pots and Michael Cajero will sculpt on them

Maurice Grossman, former head of the University of Arizona's Ceramic Department, will give a slide presentation on the History of American Ceramics

You get to keep bowl! Also, delicious coffee, tea and baked goods will be available all day.

How Clay Heals
Bring a pot you don't mind breaking, or we will supply you with one. We will turn our pottery shards into a beautiful mosaic stepping stone.

Work on a Clay Mural
For kids of all ages! The theme of our collective art piece will be how to end world hunger

Hand-Building Table
Let your creative muse get messy with clay at the hand-building table!

Silent Auction - Barbara Kobler has donated pieces by well known ceramic artists: Charlie and Linda Riggs, Wally Asselberghs, Bob Smith, Gene Johnson, and Bob Crutchfield. All proceeds will go to the MUSE building improvement fund.

Massage: A Potters Best Friend
Carpal tunnel syndrome, lower back pain etc are hazards of the potter's trade. Massage therapist Joanna Dick will give individualized advice on how to stay well and will offer massages.
