The Potter's Shop in Needham MA sometimes takes responsible high school seniors for their work exchange program. They trade glaze mixing, kiln firing, cleaning, etc for studio space, supplies and firings. If you think Daniel might be interested, have him send an email to pottersshop@aol.com.
We're fond of being international. Currently we have staff originally from the Czech Republic and a work-exchanger from Brazil. Housing would be another thing to worry about, but it usually isn't to hard to find an appartment to share in Boston in the summer when all the students are away and looking for sublet-ers. A possibility to look into.
