Greetings Everyone! This is an invitation to all of you who are =
interested in clay extruding to join a new discussion group devoted to =
the subject. If you just got an extruder & dies and have questions about =
how to use them then this group is for you. Or, if you've been using an =
extruder & dies for some time but have questions or comments about them =
then join the group. We want to extend a special welcome to those among =
you who are willing to join so they can help the newbies. Also, if you =
have photos of your extruded work that you'd like to post, Yahoo Groups =
provides the means for you to do just that.
Here's how to join: Point your browser to http://www.yahoogroups.com. If =
you're already a member of one or more Yahoo Groups then add =
"Clayextruding" to your list of groups. If you are new to Yahoo Groups =
then follow the instructions at the site to set up your I.D. and =
password. Back at the Yahoo Groups main page, type "clayextruding" (no =
quotes) in the Find A Group search box and press the enter key. This =
will take you to the opening statement of purpose for our group. To read =
the group's mail, click on the small word, "public." This will take you =
to the messages we've posted so far.=20
Bear in mind, this is a new group. The content will get richer when more =
people start posting their messages. It's hard to imagine now, but =
Clayart was a brand new group with just a few pioneers many years ago. =
Look at it now!
I am the moderator of the Clayextruding group and I've invited Fred =
Sweet, a long-time Clayart reader and extruder making / die making =
expert, to join the group. In the weeks ahead I will personally invite =
others I know who I think will be able to help us build the group.
