Clayart friends,
If you find yourself in NYC dec2-4, I will be at a show at the Park Avenue Armory, 67th and Park AV.
Come by and say hi.

Good Luck!
I live in NYC and have often thought about doing the
show, but have heard such mixed reviews. Please let us
all know how it goes. Thanks from Vision In Clay aka

I have done that show, several years ago..---VERY costly booth fee and
parking expenses in NYC......and it is a "vanity show"....a great place to sell
jewelry and clothing, but not pottery, especially art pottery. When I applied,
the promoter even cautioned me that it might not be the best show for my
work...and she was right!

I have done this show with "art" pottery and mixed media assemblage, in the fall, but not at this holiday show time. It is true that it is pricey, but not so much for an to have an indoor show in NYC from time to time. My sister lives nearby, so home cooked meals and a bed are free. I have always done well, or in bad years, well enough.
I will let you know if it has truly become a wearables show and if the upper east siders are wearing bowls this year.
