Hello,

I just ran across the information that potter Makato Yabe died this past
May. Obituaries are still online at various websites, and can easily be
found using a search engine. Yabe was born in Japan, where he undertook a
lengthy apprenticeship from the age of 9, and died in the Boston area, at
the age of 58.
