Dear Fellow Cloy-Arters,
This comes at a very appropriate time for me. I just could not get my pots
done soon enough. Today is Thursday (well it was Thursday, now it's 12:51
am). I have an open house here in my studio on Saturday from 10 to 5. I
have an order in the kiln which a patron is to pick up at the show. My kiln
takes two days to cool. It will be only one day from the turn off time till
the show time. Any help on forcing the cooling cycle without killing my
kiln and pots? By the way, I use Standard Clay 259, not a lot of grog and
it's a fine grog. My glazes are mostly gerstley borate glazed.
Also I need to apologize for having my e mail about my studio opening
contain other people's addresses. I was asked about where the show is. The
e mail said to see my website. Was that adequate. I am lucky enough to
have a friend who did the publicity, including the e mail announcement for
this show. She and I will do better as time passes.
