Making Pots with Linda Christianson: A 5-day Workshop=20

Saturday - Wednesday, January 7 - 11, 10am - 4pm

This five-day intensive hands-on workshop will focus on functional wheel
thrown pottery. Linda will demonstrate throwing and altering forms. =
Several
approaches to handle, spout, and feet making will be explored.
Demonstrations, slides and hands-on participation will form the basis =
for an
understanding of how to look critically at our work and grow in our
understanding of form, surface, volume, and intent. Participants will =
have
one on one time with Linda and will be encouraged to identify and =
explore
their own personal work. Basic wheel throwing skills are required.

Linda Christianson is a studio potter in rural Minnesota. She teaches

Endowment for the Arts and McKnight Fellowships. She is "committed to
making a better cup each day" and is represented in "collections and
kitchens worldwide."
