alkaline turquoise

Hi,
I seen to remember getting that turquoise by using a raku glaze recipe, =
something like=20
lead sesquisilicate 95
cu carbonate 5
and putting it through a bisque firing at 1060

If you are going to use lead sesquisilicate be advised that there are
potential side effects that it would be prudent to be aware of and take
prequations against. I have a link to one of the chemical supply
companies sites that succinctly lists precautions/exposure hazards and
treatment.
