Oh joy, oh bliss. What goes round comes round, and I am SO grateful...
A few years ago I made some T pots, and for convenience, dipped them in =
white slip. I usually brush... All was well, till after the glaze =
firing, when hideous and nasty blisters showed up. As in the case =
described the slip had pulled up, leaving a lovely blank space. Only =
comfort: breaking the pots in my pottery dump was fun.
I wrote to CM---and the answer was: that the slip probably was too =
thick when applied, or maybe the pots too dry(leather hard is NOT an =
exact term....)
You see? you read EVERYTHING, take notes, remember--
