Bill Daley, my former teacher and mentor recommended "Exuberance" also
by Kay Jamison as an interesting read on creativity and makers of art.

I hope this is not repeating anything, but Kay Redfield Jamison also
wrote "an Unquiet Mind, a Memoir of Moods and Madness", which had
elightened me on this topic............The New York Times Book Review
stated this book was "an invaluable memoir of manic depression, at once
medically knowledgeabe, deeply human and beautifully written...at times
poetic, at times straightforward, always unashamedly honest."
