Paula-
Having owned both- I think I can safely say that you wont be dissappointed with the L&Ls. Both use the bartlet controller. Easy to use. But the construction of the L&L is hands and feet above other kilns. If you have ever changed elements in a kiln, you'll laugh when you open up the L&L. Everything is so easy to work with. Almost makes it fun! Certainly felt safer to me too since everything was banded together with zip ties, and color coded,... all easy to use.
Someone once said, "but what about the price difference?" and my reply was something to the effect of : you'll forget what you paid in 5 years, but you'll remember every difficulty you have if you dont get the right kiln.
Cheers,

I'm looking to buy one for a home studio and was wondering if anyone
had any opinions on either the L&L or the Olympic brands.
