It is all as Judi has said, except that it is my understanding that it
will not be in Calera, but instead in Montevallo where the
University of Montevallo is located.

I also have been told that there will be an anagoma kiln firing done
during the conference so get yourself a pot or two ready.

I've been trying to get information on the Alabama Clay Conference.
This is what I need to know.
Where/how do I register for the conference?
Who is the contact person?
Where will the conference be held?
Who is presenting/What is the schedule?
What are the dates?
Will there be any pre-conference events?
What is the cost of the Conference?

I got bumped off the clayart list for some reason and after about ten tries I've finally got back on. It's good to be back.

I printed out two clayart messages Aug.24 that answer most questions.
Where ? Calera, Al (30 miles south of Birmingham). When? Feb.24-26.
Contact? Georgine Clark at the Alabama State Council on the Arts or the
coordinator , Scott Meyer, at the University of Montavallo.
Presenters? Janet Mansfield, Richard Notkin and Tip Toland
Cost is nominal, under $100 previously and that includes most of the meals.
More information will be sent out in January and I'm sure it will be
forwarded to Clayart.
