Hello potters,

I just wanted to report on my testing of a tip from Dannon Rhudy a =
couple of weeks ago. She suggested adding 3 to 6% of bone ash to =
Randy's Red (a cone 6 glaze) to get a redder color. I've used R's R on =
and off over the years, and most recently I'd been getting more brown =
than the rich rusty red I'd gotten in the past. I tested Dannon's =
suggestion by putting 3% bone ash into a small batch of the glaze and =
got an eye popping, knock-your-socks-off red - both inside and outside =
of the 2 mugs I used it on. Thanks Dannon!
