You said "I suddenly developed a rash on both of my
hands. Not dry skin, not cracking, but little itchy
bumps like poison ivy or diaper rash. They were oozy
at first, then dried up and flaked off, appearing to
heal, only to return again within a few days. "

Sarah, I wonder if you have eczema or psoriasis. Many of us have it as =
we get older.

Also clay comes from the earth so there is naturally a certain amount of =
salt in the clay or slip . This may cause additional drying to your =
skin. Skin is my line of work here in Weatherford, Texas. If you are =
receptive to the idea you can mix 1 part bees wax 2 parts of your =
favorite oil like olive , sweet almond etc. and you can make an =
inexpensive protective balm for your skin. Do not worry about adding =
fragrance however you may want to add =BC ounce eso of lavender if you =
have it on hand this is a good nourishing additive.=20

Pour the mixture in to a jar after it is melted and use it on your dry =
hands. Don't forget those elbows and feet they get dry as well. This =
will heal your skin fast fast!!!
