Hello,
I have had a customer request for a ceramic/porcelain shower stale basin
to be made. Would anyone have any info as to where i could refer the
customer to?

Yep, Stephani Stevenson. She's on this list, but I don't remember her email
address.

These days the waterproof barrier under the tiling for a shower stall
floor is a high-tech skin. When we did it 18 years ago we had to
have a copper pan fabricated and the pan was set in a sea of masonry.
So if somebody tells you you have to go the copper pan route, get
up-dated information.

You can get a lot of information on tile, tile setting and shower pans by
going to www.taunton.com click into the Fine Homebuilding archives and
search away. The have run many articles on this, heated floors, plumbing,
sinks and much more. A good library should have access to the issues if you
need them.
