Hello Clayart List!

We are a group of third-year students working with Plainsman P600 =
porcelain. We have tested many, many glazes on this clay body over the =
last few years and have only found three that (so far) do not craze. =
What we are wondering is if anyone is familiar with this clay body and =
if you have any non-craze liner recipes for this body that you would be =
willing to share with us. We plan to do colour runs on as many no-craze =
glazes that we can find and would love to share any promising results.

Thanks in advance,

Hi Heather,

Send me the recipes that do not craze and I can then give you some
information about other glazes that will not. Tell us what cone you fire at
as well - oxidation or reduction?

It will also help if you send a couple that do craze.

You can send them directly to me at:
ronroy@ca.inter.net

I do not keep recipes that potters send me by the way - nor do I share them
without permission. If you do want to share you can send them via ClayArt
and I can then answer on ClayArt for everyones information.
