hi all,
i have a query here. i started practising pottery a year back so am still a
novice at it. so have a very basic question.
i have some semi wet glazes in a plastic cover, want to know how long can =
i
keep them like this. do i sieve them again when am going to use it or just
mix adequate water to it and apply.

another query is for the wet glazes which i prepared 7-8 months back are no=
w
dry in the plastic cover. so i can some one guide me as to what is the life
of these glazzes and how do i use these glazes in whatever form they are.
i will appreciate some advice from you all...
thank you,

Hello Sarika,

Glazes will keep indefinitely. I advise sieving, for uniformity and to
capture any tiny bits which may have grown in the mixture.

If your glaze has dried, just add water and blend & sieve. There is a stage
of dryness where it's really hard to add water; in that case, I have let the
glaze dry totally to bone-dryness, and then it accepts water more readily.
