I'm looking for such a claybody. If anyone has a recipe for such a
claybody and cares to share I would appreciate hearing from you .

The last I heard about Bernard Slip was that it was discontinued and that is why Sheffield Pottery now only sells its own formulation of a now lost material. Have you a good source for BS?

Rick, I must say that just about anywhere you look these days you can find
many sources of BS... politics, newspapers, television...

p.s. But seriously, as far as I know the Barnard source mine went dry -- but
substitutes for this iron-rich material are available, under the name
"Blackbird".

The analysis I have for Barnard says it has a fair amount of manganese -
