Hi Clayarters,
I was wandering around on eBay this morning and found this auction for K-28
Morgan Thermal alumina silica fire bricks. I am not sure if these are great
bricks for a kiln or not, but it looks like a really good deal... too bad I
can't take it up right now, but maybe one of you can. She has 26 lots of 30
bricks, at $45 a lot, which works out to $1.50 a brick. Search under Item
number: 8151593300 or "Brick, High Temperature kiln ceramic oven 30 per box"
Just of curiosity, would those be good bricks for a kiln?
