Hi All.
Anybody out there own, owned, fired, or are generally knowledgeable
about Marathon kilns? I'm considering buying a used one and only know
that they were bought by Brent years ago.
This kiln is a 56cf. downdraft car kiln. Flat top with fiber. Looks to
be solid construction and in good shape from the photos.
Pacific Ceramic Machinery (www.pacificceramic.com) is the company
selling it. Great place for used stuff. Mostly large scale industrial,
but lots of useful art studio sized stuff as well. Looks like
outsourcing is taking its toll on the big ceramic outfits. Anyone dealt
with these folks before??
