Hi

There is a product called furnacecoat non-vit that is been used for
coating IBF bricks to resist soda erosion, one kiln has been fired over
100 times.

Bryan -
The problem is that we fire our soda kiln at least twice a week through the
academic year, so a lining that lasts 100 firings doesn't do us any good at
all. I'm looking for a lining that will last at least 500 firings before a
rebuild. When I find that, I'll go back to IFBs on the hotface in our soda
kilns.
