I was looking in the archives to try and find some help for my problems =
with bubbling in my glazes. It has just started happening recently and =
I can't figure out the problem, of coarse I have a show coming up in 2 =
week weeks, so the timing couldn't be worse. I noticed in the archives =
that people discussed longer soaking times for the glaze firings.
Here is what I do:
Cone 06 glazes (commercial)
first hour all levels low
second hour all levels medium
3rd all levels high
4th hour close lid
Now this has worked for me for 8 years, now all of a sudden it's not and =
I am getting lots of pinholes and bubbling. If I soak at certain level, =
which level should it be at? 2 hours on low, 2 hours high....??????? =
Any suggestions would be so helpful.
Thanks for any advice you could give,
Stacey Ballard
