Hello Clayarters,
I have been using Standard's 213 body for 0.25" thick coasters, approx 4.5" diameter, and I've had great success. Now I've started making tiles that I would like to use for wall and maybe floor. These tiles range between approx. 3" dia (although none are really circular) to 6.5" diameter
Has anyone used either 213 or 509 for making 1/2" thick wall tiles? Any luck using them as floor tiles? Assume that the clay will be pressed well into the molds and dried evenly, I am wondering what issues to look for.
Thanks in advance,
Amy Sanford
