If in 1986 you purchased a Linda Christenson casserole for $60.00, then
in 2006 you would pay $110.86 for an item of the same value.

Though you might balk at paying $350 for an open oval baking dish, it
appears that many don't:

Actually, it must depend on the size. A couple of 13" oval dishes sold
for $160. On the other hand a 20" diameter bowl sold for $375.
Complex forms also had a higher selling price.
