my first tea pot

updated fri 17 feb 06

I've been taking classes since January '03. The first thing I wanted
to make was a tea pot! I soon learned that was a very ambitious
goal-but I still wanted to make one. Yet I've also been afraid of the
project-sooo many parts and they have to fit and they have to look
good together, and.

But last night I got my first tea pot out of the kiln-ready for its
hand-made cane handle that Tony is going to teach me how to make next
month when he is here in San Antonio! I am so excited! I think it is
wonderful. I am going to post a photo as soon as I can get a picture
of it made. It is bigger than a quarter, but a mighty sweet thing!

Thanks for being there to let me share my excitement AND for all the
good helps along the way.

Gay,

That is amazing! I cannot wait to see a picture. I am a fairly new ceramic
lady (well aprx 2 1/2 years) and I know exactly how you are feeling.
Congratulations!

Sincerely,

Carla
