Does anyone have experience using paper clay in a sawdust firing? =
Intuitively, it seems like the bisqued paper clay might take smoking =
better than regular clay, but I'd appreciate any first-hand experience.

If you have burnished or used terra sig on your piece,
there is not any difference between paper clay and any
other kind, once it has been bisqued. If you haven't
burnished your piece, there is still no difference in the
way the clay "smokes". The paper is long gone. The
bisque temp may affect the piece to a degree, though
my experience is that it doesn't matter, up to cone 06
or so.
