I've been playing with mc6 glazes as well....
The mason stains dropped into the semi matte base number one and two with 4 to 6 percent rutile are working out quite well. Depending on the stain makeup (opacity) and percent some are breaking quite nicely over edges or over the "bone" used as slip.
