I appreicate you informing the group and don't worry about it being OT. Your part of this group and your health matters to many of us. We're a whole of the topic not a speck among our words.
I am astounded by how many people I am hearing that get staph infections and I have a couple family members who contracted it from surgeries over the past year. This is a nasty thing for them and one still has on-going complications. So going to NCECA shouldn't be a priority at all till your completely well and everything has totally healed.
Calcium Hydroxide - dilute it heavily with water and use it as a fertilizer. Lime loving plants could make use of it as it reduces soil acidity. Its also used to treat sewage and sludge and rectify pH issues. Due to it s strong alkaline nature, gloves and eye safety gear should be worn till reduced to near neutral or just above.
