lee brings up a very good thought.
a great deal of how your mugs are designed
is greatly dependant on how you throw.
any hump thrown pot will need a great deal
of tooling or turning. a ring of sorts will appear.
the entire quality of the pot changes.
if you throw off the wheel head, something else
will happen.
speed of throwing, type of clay, hardness of clay
all will create a style.
so.
to each his/her own. and that his how your own style
comes to life. the options are in the millions.
