Hi all

There is a mug at the Victoria and Albert Museum dated 1692-94, called a
capuchine. Supposed to resemble cloaked capuchine monks, it says here.

Nice photo of it on the V&A website - http://www.vam.ac.uk - click on
Collections, then Search Collections, type in capuchine, for info on this item which
incidentally is called a cup!

Some other museum, somewhere, sometime, I have seen a cup that was called a
mogg, but can't for the moment remember the details. I'll rummage in the old
notebooks just in case. Has anyone else come across such an item?
