Tom and I blew into Texas today to visit David at Old Farmhouse Pottery. Man
they have a beautiful house and property. It's over 80 today and the trees
are in bloom, daffys cover the ditches and we had a great Tex Mex dinner on
the porch tonight. Not only can he build a mean house he's a damn fine cook.
We got some great laughs watching David's new 3 part DVD. I only laughed
cause he has that great grin on his face and if I close my eyes he sounds
like Hank Hill. Go on his website www.farmpots.com and look at it. This is
a video about much more than extruding. It's about a potters life, throwing
cups and vases, music and the extruder is part of the process.
We're off to Black Jack Clay tomorrow, throwing some pots and doing a wood
fire pizza.
