Hi,

We are looking forward to NCECA and the woodfire
workshop with Jack Troy. Afterwards we have a bit of
free time and are thinking skiing. Have been reading
up on Timberline Lodge and Mount Hood Meadows. We are
also interested in any ski areas in Washington. We
will be heading back North and up through the Olympic
Peninsula back home to Vancouver Island.

If anyone has any advice about where to ski, places to
stay, etc. we would love to hear from you. We are
intermediate/ expert. Offline replies are fine. Thanks
and looking forward to meeting everyone.

If you like to ski, Timberline is probably the most picturesque, especially the lodge and the Palmer lift provides a little challange. The best skiing site in my opinion is Mt. Bachelor, great runs, many of them, and great scenery. My pick by far. The area is outside of Bend, OR. and easy to get to. If you want any more info check do a search for Bend and Mt. Bachelor or skiing in Oregon.
