Clayarters,

Well I thought this was going to be my last memo regarding this
event. I'm basically between planes in Brussels between Venice and Portland..

Things are continuing to shape up. We have commitments from Suzanne
Tourtillott of Lark Books, Polly Beach of Clay Times and Hank Murrow.

I'm still a little desperate. I was really hoping that one or two
Clayart "experts" on digital photography would step forward. Two of
our main stays; John Hesselberth and Tony Ferguson won't be available
this year. We learned a LOT from Tony last year and John in the past.
It would be good for some others to step forward. It's all very
informal, much like sharing info with your friends so don't be afraid. ;-)

I'll be checking my email so if someone wants to step forward contact
me off list at Russel.Fouts@skynet.be

Whether you're coming as a panelist or as a participant, this is an
event you won't want to miss if you are interested in photographing
your work or learning how to work with a professional photographer.
It's just one of the many services that the Clayart room lets us put
on just for Clayarters (thanks mel!)

If you have any questions, please feel free to write me.

I've included my earlier post below with all the details of time and place.

See you all there!

======================================================
Clayarters,

The 7th Annual Clayart Photography Workshop will be from 6:30pm until
8:30pm in the Clayart Room at the Red Lion Inn on Thursday the 9th of
March. That's just after the Distinguished Lecture and just before
the Randall Session.

This year the focus will be on digital photography. After the long
and varied threads I've seen here on Clayart, I expect that there
will be a lot of questions.

There also seems to be a lot of people here with expertise and I'm
hoping that some of you will come forward and act as panelists.

So I'm really counting on some new experts to step forward. I'm
looking for people who have expertise in digital photography, either
professionally or as amateurs in photographing pots, either their own
or others.

I'm also looking for Editors used to working with digital photography
and people with juror's experience.

As always, comments and answers are also appreciated from the audience.

So, if you want to be a panelist and share your expertise, please
contact me off list at Russel.Fouts@Skynet.be.

This has always been an event that you wouldn't want to miss so don't.

Let's see you all there.

Russel
