I received Mel Jacobson's gorgeous, perfectly handled mug in
the Mug Exchange. Many, many accused me of some sort of
skullduggery. It's true that I'd maybe trample a few people ....... no
specific buds, of course......... to get his work, especially this
chattered and blue mug...... but I didn't. It was all fair&square.
What is amazing is that this is the third time I've received Mel's
work in the exchange!! And once I received the mug of a bud who
also received mine! =20
I was fortunate to get out of the room in one piece that night myself!
Several....... even good, good friends of long standing........ said =
that
they'd had about enough of whatever vibes I was sending out in
order to make this happen. I did feel for them, but not so much.

In the Mojave where it's cold and we had snow one morning.... or so
I'm told. I loved Portland's weather! Maybe I'll move to =
Portland.......
hmmmmmmm........... no, maybe not. Excluding the summers, it's
very easy to live in the desert. But, Kentucky beckons, especially
around Berea where there are so many great artists....... as does
Tennessee........ and the northeast.........and my brother is retired
in Guadalajara, Mexico...... loves it........ strange to recognize that
I could move wherever I could afford to live....... New Mexico..... =

Texas..... I love Texas....... I remember my Big Hair days fondly......
maybe Maydelle?? Or across the mountain to the Kern River or
Lake Isabella........?? Or the Olympic peninsula........ or Anchorage
near Chris Bliss, who is delightful, folks.... another one I'm glad I
got to know a bit....... Steve Statin, too........ forget it....... I'm =
forgetting
important interactions. I hate that.
